Changing America ... one chair at a time

I've been tackling some projects in the New Year and that has included some UGLY chairs... now, I just have to figure out what to do with them... rescuing a chair from the side of the road or the corner thrift store isn't that hard part ... even giving them new life is not so hard ... they are so eager to please... but finding a new home... there in lies the challenge.

I've been trying to figure out if I could sell these in my etsy store... I'd love to, but I'm afraid the shipping would be cost prohibitive. I'm thinking of trying Craig's List, but we'll see. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to sponsor a chair. (:

Now go change America (for the better.)

I blogged about finding two of these chairs here

Ugly Chair Recovery Program is Back

Wow, the Holidays were a vortex that sucked up all my spare time... a lovely vortex tough! We had a wonderful Christmas Season, but I'm glad to have things get back to normal.
I got a new electric staple gun for Christmas and I didn't take much time putting it to good use. I had this ugly chair for months and it went pretty easily with the new gun.

Now I have a near pair and I think they look lovely together. I'll have to have some people over to sit in them now.

Another ugly chair down. Currently I have two more chairs awaiting some attention and another completed project I'm hoping to list in my etsy shop, soon.
