I have a hard time leaving an ugly chair behind, especially if it's a child's chair. If my son Jack is with me, he can make it even worse. He plopped down in this one and flashed me a smile.
"It fit's," he said.

Anyone who has been to my house knows I have a thing for little painted chairs with rush seats, I have them in graduating sizes up to a full-size chair.
When I saw this little number for a $1, I knew that I had to have it, even though the seat was a complete mess.
It may not have made a great place to sit, but it was the perfect place to park a few succulents. I may just have to find a place to keep this guy inside during the winter, instead of overwintering it in the garage.

It makes me smile every time I drive up to my house.

just curious... what was the method for getting the "ROAR" on the chair? its super duper cute!
No problem, the dino and the bubble are just hand painted and then I used scrapbooking stickers to spell our roar. I then gave it a few coats of poly because I knew Jack would peal them off if I didn't
The chair for your boy turned out adorable!
Love your dino chair! tuned out awesome!
